Velodrome Finance's VELO Jumps 113% Post-Binance Listing

Velodrome Finance (VELO) has surged 113% in value after getting listed on Binance. The token is now available for trading against Tether (USDT). This major listing boosts Velodrome’s visibility and liquidity, helping solidify its role in decentralized finance (DeFi). 

Binance Listing Brings Key Upgrades for Velodrome Traders

The price spike shows how Binance’s influence can instantly impact a token’s market. On December 13, Binance officially added Velodrome Finance to its platform. The exchange introduced the VELODROME/USDT trading pair, opening deposits before trading began at 14:00 UTC. 

Withdrawals will start on December 14.

Binance applied a “Seed Tag” to VELO, warning of higher volatility. Traders must take a risk-awareness quiz every 90 days. To improve the trading experience, Binance also launched features like trading bots and spot copy trading. 

These updates help traders make the most of the VELO listing. This listing provides Velodrome Finance with key exposure, which boosts liquidity and growth potential in the DeFi sector.

VELO’s Impressive Price Surge and Market Performance

After the Binance listing, VELO’s price soared 113%, reaching $0.3243. Over the last month, the token climbed 273%, and since January, it has risen 527%. 

These jumps reflect growing confidence in Velodrome’s utility and potential. VELO now has a market cap of $285 million, and its 24-hour trading volume surged by nearly 3,500% to $227 million. 

This sharp rise mirrors KOMA’s success after listing on Binance, which saw a 170% spike. Binance’s influence is undeniable. The exchange has helped propel Velodrome into the spotlight, increasing visibility and market activity.
