Manchester City and cryptocurrency exchange OKX have unveiled an innovative digital experience titled "Unseen City: Echoes of Blue," a virtual escape room that merges Web3 technology with interactive artificial intelligence (AI). Launched on August 9, 2024, and running until September 5, this unique initiative aims to deepen fan engagement through immersive gameplay and personalized interactions with AI avatars of Manchester City players.
Participants can explore five distinct themed rooms: the Training Room, Strategy Room, OKX Lounge, Trophy Room, and Lobby. Each room presents unique challenges and tasks, allowing fans to unlock exclusive rewards such as match tickets and limited-edition merchandise. The AI avatars, modeled after popular players like Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne, provide hints and guidance, creating a more engaging and tailored experience for users.
Michael Page, head of brand marketing at OKX, emphasized the importance of this initiative in enhancing fan interaction.
